The UAE Good Delivery (UAEGD) guidelines are a national standard introduced by the United Arab Emirates to enhance transparency, accountability, and ethical practices in its gold sector. Launched by the Ministry of Economy in November 2021, UAEGD builds upon the earlier Dubai Good Delivery (DGD) system, expanding its scope to cover the entire UAE. The guidelines align with international frameworks such as the OECD Due Diligence Guidance, focusing on responsible sourcing, risk-based due diligence, and compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations. UAEGD mandates that refiners and traders implement strong management systems, conduct thorough supply chain risk assessments, and undergo independent audits to ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards .
